Senior Risk Analyst

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Risk Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks while delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to the corporate and stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative risk analysis, utilizing advanced techniques to assess operational, technical, and project-related risks.
• Support the risk manager by ensuring alignment with directives, facilitating seamless coordination, and contributing to enterprise-wide risk management initiatives.
• Monitor risk performance metrics and key risk indicators (KRIs) to track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and recommend adjustments.
• Work closely with project managers to align risk insights with business objectives.
• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies for cost control, project execution, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain an event repository and risk register to document key risk occurrences, lessons learned, and mitigation actions for continuous improvement.
• Develop scenario analysis and stress testing frameworks to evaluate potential risks under various conditions.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field in risk management.
• 12+ years of experience in risk management, cost control, planning, or a related controls domain within the construction industry.
• A high-level managerial professional certification is preferred (e.g., PMP-RMP, PRM, or equivalent).
• Strong skills in quantitative risk analysis (QRA) and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
