About Aura

The Aura Blockchain Consortium, established by LVMH, OTB Group, Prada Group and Cartier, part of Richemont, is the first global luxury blockchain consortium dedicated exclusively to luxury brands with the aim to become the technological standard for the luxury industry. The Consortium, which operates blockchain platforms, aims notably to allow luxury brands to help consumers trace the provenance and authenticity of luxury goods. Since the creation of the consortium in 2021, the association is accelerating its technical roadmap, onboarding new members, developing relationships with technical service providers and is willing to develop its partnerships with key actors in the sectors.

In this context, we are searching for a Senior Back-End Developer to develop existing and new applications such as:

• Track and trace of luxury goods based on Ethereum technology.
• Digital Product Passport and sustainability attributes.
• Digital Collectibles (NFT) projects for various use-cases including customer loyalty programs.
• Applications interacting with Public and Private blockchains.

Profile

• Strong software development skills: Javascript/Typescript/Node.js – strong proficiency in NodeJS is required.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Testing: Strong experience in writing and maintaining automated tests.

Activities / Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain JavaScript/TypeScript based backend-end applications.
• Write high quality, well-tested code following the best practices of the industry.
• Strive for simplicity and maintainability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality projects.
• Contribute to the implementation of new features on front-end codebases, ensuring a good security and performance profile.
• Implement blockchain backend flows integrating with database, Solidity smart contracts, and Web3 services.
• Participate in the support rotation for the applications you work on.

Relevant additional Experience / Knowledge

• React / NextJS knowledge or experience.
• Blockchain development experience, in any public or private blockchain system.
• Ethereum / Web3 knowledge or practical development skills.
• Solidity smart contract development experience.
• Skills in DevOps / Cloud / Platform engineering
