Position: Senior, Medior & Junior Python Developers

📍 Location: Gelderland, The Netherlands

🏢 Full time; Hybrid (2-3 days a week at the client’s office)

📜 Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

🌍 Mandatory Languages: English (Dutch is a plus)

📌 Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

Requirements:

Senior Python Lead Developer / Solution Architect

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Solid understanding of data processing technologies (Kafka, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proven experience designing cloud-native architectures using the Azure Data Stack
• Strong background in DevOps and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Experience in the electricity or energy sector is mandatory
• Capable of setting development standards and guiding teams technically
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Medior Python Developer

• 3+ years of experience in Python and unit testing
• Hands-on exposure to Kafka, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience working with Azure-based data solutions
• Involvement in CI/CD processes and agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to DevOps improvements
• Experience in the electricity sector required

Junior Python Developer

• 1+ year of Python development experience
• Knowledge of unit testing and basic CI/CD practices
• Exposure to data tools like Kafka, Hadoop, Docker, Kubernetes
• Interest in cloud technologies and eagerness to learn Azure stack
• Prior experience or strong interest in algorithms and the electricity sector

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and release robust Python-based software solutions
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and cross-functional teams
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical documentation
• Apply agile principles and clean code practices
• Monitor and reduce technical debt across the codebase
• Take ownership of debugging, log analysis, and production readiness
