The Role: Full-Stack Software Engineer

(Java in the backend, Angular in the frontend, Docker everywhere. You get the vibe.)

📍 Location: Lisbon

🏢🏠 Work Model: 4 days in the office (in the 1st trimester), then is 3 days a week onsite

🗣️ Languages: English (B2 - C1) – French is a plus

🧑 💻 Your Profile and our Stack

We work mainly with Java, Spring & Angular, running in cloud environments with Docker & Kubernetes, plus BPMN workflows. Depending on the team, you might also bump into MongoDB, Kafka, Python, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or even Kotlin. Yes, we like options.

• Strong experience (> 5 years) in Java (11–21) and Spring Boot (this is home base).
• Hands-on expertise with frontend frameworks: React or Angular (preferably Angular 17 / React 18)
• Solid understanding of design patterns
• BPMN knowledge? Even better.
• Interest in DevOps & cloud architecture (we love engineers who think beyond “it works on my machine”).
• A true team player. No lone wolves coding in caves.
• Passionate about tech and constantly learning — courses, certifications, side projects, tinkering at 10pm because “I just wanted to test something.”

⚙️ What You Will Be Doing (Concrete responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Build dynamic, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React or Angular
• Design, develop and integrate business workflow applications.
• Configure business rules and maintain existing Appway workflows.
• Suggest and implement innovative improvements — we want your ideas.
• Coach junior developers (if you’ve got the experience and the patience 😉).
