We are looking for a manager for Project Management Office Giraffe xA

At Project Management office the focus is on execution of contracts in all sizes throughout the life cycle of the products, from development contracts to service contracts.

Your role

As Manager, you will manage the team of project managers with the responsibility to execute won contracts and base projects, this includes securing good profitability, cash flow, delivery precision, quality and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for developing our ways of working within the Project office Giraffe xA including contracts, base development and serial production. The unit will consist of around 20 employees.

You will be a part of the Product Unit Giraffe xA Management team.

Business Unit Surface Sensors Solutions is a business unit within Surveillance and has more than 2000 employees globally; with center of gravity in Sweden, Finland, Germany and UK.

Surface Sensors Solutions provides ground-based and naval radar and electronic surveillance solutions. The business unit has a strong presence in the global defense and security markets, a close relationship with customers and rewarding international collaborations.

At Business Unit Surface Sensors Solutions we have the responsibility, short and long term, to develop the Surface Sensor portfolio to become as profitable as possible. We execute our projects with the highest standard as a guiding light. We are continuously working with our leadership and culture which is a top priority for the Business Unit. Our excellent employees work in the field of Product Management, Sales and Marketing, System design, Design, Integration and Verification, Project Management, Production etc.

Your profile

• You have leadership experience with focus on business and customer understanding
• You have a good financial understanding and experience from project management and/or product management
• You are driven as a person with good social skills and a willingness to build relationships internally Saab as well as externally
• You have the skills to create a collaborative culture with transparency, frequent feedback, respect and trust
• You are a team player willing to walk the extra mile for your team and its objectives
• You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
  
  
  

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
