We seek a dynamic Scrum Master to empower our Data and Analytics teams. You'll drive Agile excellence, eliminate roadblocks, and foster continuous improvement in complex data projects. Your expertise in data warehousing, engineering, and analytics will be crucial in delivering impactful solutions. You'll lead Agile ceremonies, collaborate with Product Owners, and ensure smooth, efficient delivery. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2+ years supporting Data & Analytics projects.
  • Strong understanding of data lifecycle, including ingestion, ETL/ELT, warehousing, and visualization/reporting.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Experience working in an enterprise Agile transformation environment.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in a data context.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams working on data engineering, business intelligence, and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach the team on Agile best practices and principles to promote self-organization and accountability.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories.
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and delivery.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, communication, and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure effective use of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track progress and report key metrics.
  • Monitor sprint performance and velocity, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven retrospectives.
  • Coordinate dependencies with other teams and align on cross-team deliverables.
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements within Agile delivery.
