Stores Helper

The Qatar Distribution Company (QDC) is the only licensed retail distributor of wines and spirits in Qatar. The store has a wide range of beverages that can be purchased by licensed hotels and qualifying private individuals.

As a Store Helper you will undertake rapid, efficient, safe unloading and movement of containers, responsible for the storage of stocks so that it is in the right place at the right time to support sales growth whilst shortages, breakages and other materials handling costs are minimized.

You will perform proper receipt of goods including collecting product and pallet labelling, checking products expiry dates and inform the concerned personal for action if any expired/soon to expire products identified. In addition, you will complete stacks pallets according to company guidelines to ensure maximum space utilization and safe movement of stocks to prevent any potential injuries.

• You should have minimum 2-year experience in materials handling or similar warehouse operation.
• Must have High School education with good communication skills in English.
• You should be physically fit to perform manual handling activities such as loading/offloading of heavy cartons regularly in warehouse.
• In addition, you must be willing to undertake shift-work.
