Scrum Master/Delivery Manager

We are looking for a Scrum Master/Delivery Manager to join one of our client's offices in Brussels on a permanent contract.

Responsibilities :

We are looking for a colleague to join us as the Manager of the Product Team.

• Your main priority will be to ensure the quality of service and compliance with security standards for our existing applications. Additionally, we expect you to implement and manage the target structure and working methods of the team, gradually enabling it to handle all new deliverables and assets from the program, alongside its current responsibilities.
• You will lead and coach the team as a manager.
• You will manage priorities, dependencies, budgets, as well as the training and well-being of your team. We expect you and your team to be engaged, passionate, and to enjoy your work.
• Beyond managing your direct team, you will also coordinate various experts contributing to your initiatives, such as Business and IT Epic/Project Managers, architects, and security specialists. Cultivating a broad network to facilitate collaboration with other teams and remove obstacles is essential.
• You will report to your IT Feature Managers, IT management, as well as business stakeholders and sponsors.

Your Profile :

Professional Experience :

• At least 5 years of experience in IT delivery and leading IT teams.
• Proficiency in English and at least one of the two national languages.
• Expertise in various delivery practices, such as Scaled Agile and Waterfall.
• A background in insurance (commercial lines) is an asset.

• Pragmatic with the right mindset to quickly deliver effective solutions that meet actual business needs.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT, positioning yourself as a primary point of contact.
• Understand the impact of operations analysis, architecture, application design, technical quality, coding standards, and processes on implementation outcomes.
• Promote continuous improvement in service quality.
• Capable of building a strong network and identifying the right people to collaborate with you and your teams.
• Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, gaining buy-in at all organizational levels.
• Willing to apply both conventional and innovative methods, finding the right balance between them.
• Act as a coach to your team members, fostering autonomy and professional development.
• Proactive in identifying and managing risks and issues.
• Motivated by delivering fast and high-quality results.
