We are seeking a talented and capable Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing our contactless bank card payment solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the development of products that improve the lives of commuters and travellers.

You're more than welcome to apply if you:

• have at least 2 years of experience in building large backend solutions;
• have a solid understanding of core algorithms, data structures, and their applications.
• feel confident in your analytical skills and ability to understand complex specifications;
• have hands-on experience with automated unit and integration testing, code reviews, clean code, and other modern practices;
• enjoy working with modern technologies, and mission-critical systems;
• see yourself working with a product that makes a difference;
• are fluent in oral and written English.

Even though you'd mainly work with Java in back-end systems, having experience with (preferably Angular) front-end frameworks is a bonus. What you will be doing:

• Your main task is to be one of the key players in developing Sfey's payment gateway solution;
• You'll ensure that best practices are consistently applied in your work;
• You'll work in a team that is also responsible for the design and architecture of the solution;
• You'll work closely with our core product and development teams and system integrators;
• You'll have a possibility to make a significant impact in the team on how our core backend is being built and what tools and frameworks are being deployed.
