Your role 💼

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join the Facility Management department of our client, a leading IT service provider within a prominent banking group. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network systems (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and implement proactive solutions to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and upgrade network infrastructure.
• Conduct regular network assessments and audits, ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices.
• Respond to and resolve network-related incidents and service requests.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular backups and ensure system integrity for all network-related components.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Coordinate closely with the Facility Management team and other IT departments to ensure operational continuity.

Requirements 💡

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a similar technical IT role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Italian is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and network management tools.
• Hands-on experience with hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
• Solid understanding of network security concepts and technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent is a plus.
• Nice to have: familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools such as ServiceNow.
