Role: SAP Project Manager – Finance, Solutions and Technology

Duration: Long Term Contract

Start: ASAP

Location: 40% Remote (2-3 days onsite in Beerse, Belgium, EU)


The Senior Project Manager is a critical role that will be instrumental in delivering the Finance Solutions & Technology (FS&T) vision and roadmap.

This individual is responsible for the end-to-end project management of the FS&T Financial Transformation implementation. This role will develop, manage, and drive the execution of project work plans; lead resource planning and manage throughout the project lifecycle; manage project scope; assist with project financial management, own and drive project changes, risks, actions, issues, decisions (CRAID); weekly status reporting; manage integration of intra/inter-dependencies across projects and integrated work plan milestones.

This role will partner with senior stakeholders within the FS&T organization as well as across the broader MedTech and Corporate Finance and Technology organizations to drive execution.

A proactive, results-oriented leader with deep Project Management skills and SAP experience, preferably within company, is desired.


Project Management

Responsible for managing and driving large complex programs & projects throughout the full project life cycle - from ideation, planning, resourcing, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure using both waterfall and agile methodologies. Manage PMO activities in support of the overall program which primarily include:

Project Schedule Management

Project Integration, Inter and Intra Dependency Management

Enhancement Project Status

Resource Plans & Management

Risk, Issue and Action/Decision Management (RAID)

Scope & Project Change Management

Financial Management

Communications & Status

Compliance and SDLC


Leadership, Communication, and Relationship Building

Cultivate a close working relationship with the project core team leads in order to understand overall requirements and identify risks and opportunities. Contribute as an active and engaged member of the team to ensure the success of the overall program. Lead meetings with business, technical and global representatives regarding the project activities, timeline, and issues. Articulate project status, key issues, and dependencies to all levels of management. Attend and participate in daily stand-up calls. Monitor and report on the progress of a project to all stakeholders. Represent PMO in Backlog execution conversations.

Project Quality

Review and provide feedback on all key project management deliverables to drive improvements in overall program and project quality and delivery excellence. Partner with the SigniFi PMO to identify systemic issues and to develop, pilot, and implement process improvements. Collaborate with Central PMO on project health, metrics and dependencies.

People Leadership: Direct accountability for contract project management support


Qualifications

A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.

Post-graduate degree preferred.

Professional project management certification (PMP) and/or diploma is preferred.


Experience:

8+ years of Project Management of enterprise-wide implementations

5+ years of Finance experience is preferred (Finance processes and/or technology)

5+ years of Treasury experience preferred

Demonstrated experience driving and delivering projects of various sizes & durations. Highly adaptable to changing needs within the organization - adapts to rapidly changing priorities.

Strong technical aptitude - proven experience with SAP ERP system implementations, including implementation approaches, timelines, and activities is required

Detailed knowledge of project planning, tracking, resource management, project planning, scheduling tools, and cross-project analyses is required

Solid understanding of project support tools like Jira, Planview, MS Office

Healthcare Industry experience is preferred
