Senior System Admin / DevOps
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
Duration: Contract - 1 year Fixed Term
Salary: €50k to €60k

Join our client's dynamic IT Team as a System Admin/DevOps expert!

Reporting to the Head of IT, you'll play a crucial role in managing their internal environment, enhancing security, and reducing dependency on external partners.

This is a one-year fixed-term contract with significant responsibility for IT service support and operations, including cybersecurity management.

Your Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain various cloud-based systems.
• Uphold system standards per group policies.
• Monitor daily system operations, ensuring server integrity and availability.
• Manage firewalls, switches, and backup strategies.
• Handle hardware/software failures, coordinating recovery efforts.
• Develop scalable cloud infrastructure with Azure DevOps tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Azure Functions.
• Monitor cloud services and ensure security compliance.
• Collaborate with developers and users for optimal application performance.
• Address and resolve real-time issues.
• Support infosec audits and collaborate with third-party providers.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in system admin, devops, cloud computing, or software development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and tools.
• Experience with container-based infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
