Business Analyst

Summary

The Business Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, as well as create user stories, capture business requirements, conduct functional testing, and create business/system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop business requirements across multiple functions, understanding their interactions and how SharePoint Enterprise solutions can support these needs and then translate stakeholders' vision into detailed requirements by speaking their language.
• Evaluate processes to ensure end-to-end information flow and then document user stories and functional requirements that describe features, functions, and user interfaces.
• Plan and execute functional testing including creating and managing scripts, and coordinate UAT while adhering to project methodology and change control.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including FAQs, best practices, process maps, user guides, and GUI mockups
  
  

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and 1-5 years of relevant experience including familiarity with Agile methodology, use case scenarios, and user stories.
• Strong skills in discovery, critical thinking, time management, and articulating user requirements.
• Experience in functional testing and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and collaboration tools (MS Teams, Azure DevOps, Webex, Miro).
• Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service while understanding when situations require persuasion, conciliation, or assertiveness.
• Willingness to work some off-shift-hours and travel as needed.
  
  

This is a 12-Month Contract opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
