Quant/Trading Development Engineer (Hedge Fund, HFT, C++, Java, Golang)

My client is a well-known hedge fund looking to expand its trading team. You will collaborate closely with traders and other teams to ensure the robustness and reliability of the systems that drive the trading operations. The ideal candidate with have hands on experience in HFT and coding in C++/Java/Golang. This new position has just been opened up and offers a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team.

Responsibility:

• Work closely with quants to develop software solutions to grow the P&L
• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support trading platforms with continuous performance, stability, and feature improvements
• Creating visualisation tools and monitors for live trading and simulation (market/position/profit and loss/any other statistics related to trading)
• Collaboratively work things out with business stakeholders

Requirement:

• University graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ professional experience in high-performance software development from any industries, with trading platform development experience in a big plus
• Demonstrate solid programming skills on Java, C++, or Golang, familiar with R, Linux, MySQL, etc.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong desire to deliver high quality results in a timely fashion
