Our client is a leading media company and a key player in the news industry. You will be part of the mobile team developing an app that is about to be on the market

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Senior Android Developer to play a key role in advancing our mobile applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Android development, specializing in Jetpack Compose, building and maintaining shared libraries, implementing performance monitoring tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will lead critical projects aimed at enhancing app performance, ensuring design system consistency, and improving the overall developer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Android development.
• Proven experience with Kotlin and Java.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and building reusable UI components.
• Expertise in building and maintaining shared libraries.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Familiarity with design systems and UI consistency.
• Experience integrating web content into mobile apps.
• Expertise in dependency management and upgrading libraries.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture components and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• English - Upper-intermediate.
