Game Tester

We are looking for a Game Tester for a remote project based in India.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of games by conducting thorough testing, reviewing and editing media assets, managing metadata, and maintaining clear documentation.
• The role also involves utilizing office and creative tools, participating in QA processes, and collaborating with customers to ensure game releases meet high standards.

Description:

• Test games to identify bugs, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
• Review and edit game graphics, video, and sound settings, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Update and maintain metadata using dedicated editors.
• Write comprehensive and clear release notes for game updates and launches.
• Participate in reviewing QA processes and contribute to test design.
• Test planning, test case creation and executing test cases.
• Utilize Jira and Xray for issue tracking and reporting.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools to edit and manage game assets as needed.
• Perform quality control for customer games in production.

Skills:

• Previous experience in game testing, or software testing.
• Strong attention to detail for identifying bugs and inconsistencies.
• Familiarity with QA tools and workflows, including Jira and Xray.
• Basic proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Understanding of metadata editing.
