We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist who combines technical expertise with a strong business mindset to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST (f/m/n)

Location: Vienna, Austria

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development and maintenance of Power BI reports for various business units.
• Manage and transform data across multiple sources (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server), ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase reporting efficiency.
• Build and optimize workflows using Power Automate.
• Minimize manual reporting by setting up scheduled data refreshes and automated exports.
• Serve as the go-to expert for all reporting and automation-related topics.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and managing Power BI dashboards, including strong DAX skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with large data sets.
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate or similar workflow tools; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or AI-based tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, especially in translating technical insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Educational background in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Analytics—or equivalent practical experience.

Please include information about your work permit for Austria in your application. The gross monthly salary for this position is based on the Austrian retail collective agreement. However, the actual starting salary will be determined individually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
