Accountabilities

We are looking for a Data Scientist – Business Intelligence to join our Business Technology & Intelligence team. This role sits at the heart of our evolving data ecosystem. You will play a key role in building and scaling our data foundation within Databricks, integrating multiple enterprise data sources, and enabling advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities across the business.

You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment where ownership, initiative, and collaboration are essential. This is a hands-on role where you will take business requests from concept through to production—building pipelines, developing models, and enabling actionable insights across the organisation.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines in Databricks, integrating data from multiple systems including Saleforce products (SFMC, and SFCC) , SAP, and the clienteling platform
  • Support and deliver ad-hoc deep-dive analysis
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade machine learning models, including: customer segmentation, churn and retention prediction, customer lifetime value (CLV) modelling, sales forecasting, marketing attribution and campaign effectiveness, Lead scoring and CRM modelling and personalisation and recommendation use cases.
  • Ensure production reliability, performance, and scalability of data pipelines and ML solutions
  • Improve and expand our Customer 360 data model, identifying gaps in data availability, quality, and integration.
  • Continuously improve data quality, accessibility, and usability across the organisation
  • Support data aggregation, standardisation, and transformation logic for CRM and marketing use cases
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders across global digital, CRM/marketing, merchandising, and commercial teams
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting frameworks to support business decision-making


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in data science, data analytics, or a related field
  • Thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys building from the ground up
  • Comfortable working across technical and business domains, turning complex requirements into scalable data and ML solutions
  • Strong communicator, confident in a multicultural, cross-functional organisation
  • Proven production experience in Databricks, including building and maintaining data pipelines
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data integration, and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments with evolving requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English (mandatory)
  • Experience working with customer data: Salesforce CRM (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Exposure to SAP or enterprise retail/eCommerce data ecosystems
  • Experience in retail, luxury, or consumer-facing industries
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics, CRM automation, or clienteling tools
