Project Manager

My client, is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project from kick-off to completion, ensuring all milestones are met within the specified budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Conduct kick-off meetings to align on contract terms, technical specifications, and design information.
• Assemble and manage a cross-functional project team, coordinating with internal departments such as CAD design, process engineering, and automation.
• Take ownership of the mechanical engineering design of the installation, providing leadership and guidance throughout the detailed engineering process.
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and the customer.
• Oversee production and assembly processes, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Visit customers regularly for project updates, addressing any concerns and providing technical expertise.
• Manage contract changes and ensure customer satisfaction at all stages of the project.
• Ensure smooth transition from installation to commissioning and aftercare.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A driven engineer with a passion for technology and mechanical design.
• Background in Electromechanical or Mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant project experience, particularly in plant engineering or the process industry, is highly desirable.
• Strong technical insight, with experience in mechanical engineering and process installations. Knowledge of process engineering and instrumentation is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with additional language skills (e.g., French or German) considered an advantage.
• Customer-focused with the ability to build long-term relationships and manage client expectations.
• Results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep a clear overview of project progress.
• Hands-on and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
