As a Lead IT Architect you'll make key architectural decisions for our IT systems in all over Telia Estonia. Your task is to set the vision and guidelines for a futureproof, efficient, scalable IT solutions in the whole Telia Estonia. You won't be alone on this journey, but often the final decision rests with you. Adaptability to challenges and comfort in uncertainty are essential in this role.
Furthermore, you will:
You will be part of the IT and Analytics unit within the Architecture and Central IT Services unit. Work closely with IT&A Management Team, Domain Architects, business stakeholders to align our IT architecture with Telia Estonia strategic goals. Steer IT Architecture to ensure a unified and effective approach. Create and maintain roadmap and implementation plan for the IT Architecture. Lead a cross domain architecture governance board.

As a Lead IT Architect, we expect your areas of expertise to be:
Technical Expertise:
- Infrastructure: Deep understanding of datacenter networks, virtualization and storage.
- Cloud Computing: Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Software Development: Familiarity with programming languages and software development methodologies.
- Business Acumen: General understanding of the telecom market, business models, and financial principles.
- Innovation: Ability to identify and implement new technologies and solutions.
- Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
- Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including executives and clients.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and design effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and environments.
- Interaction: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in Estonian and English.
- Technical Writing: Proficiency in creating clear and concise technical documentation.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to present complex information in an understandable way to non-technical audiences.
- Compliance: Understanding of telecom regulations and standards.
