We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer, Detection and Response to join our growing security team. If you have a track record of building, improving upon, and maintaining scalable detection and response programs, we want you on our team!

What You Will Do

• Lead the design, implementation, and long-term evolution of a comprehensive Detection & Response (D&R) program.
• Partner with the executive team and senior leadership to develop a strategic vision for D&R that aligns with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Translate high-level business objectives into actionable security strategies that enhance our threat detection, alerting, incident response, and remediation capabilities
• Serve as a key advisor to senior management during high-impact security incidents, ensuring clear communication and decisive action.
• Oversee the end-to-end incident response lifecycle—from identification and containment to remediation and post-incident analysis.
• Push the boundaries of current tooling by identifying innovative solutions that address new threat vectors and emerging risks.
  
  

We would love to have You on our team, if you have:

• Proven technical experience in securing the following: web applications, mobile applications, and cloud IaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on threat detection, incident response, and security automation. Proven track record of leading security initiatives within complex, cloud-based environments.
• Experience leveraging automation through Python, TypeScript, and other scripting languages to enhance detection and response processes, reduce manual effort, and improve response times
• You are organized, prioritize effectively, and can manage multiple responsibilities – from building long-term solutions to handling ad-hoc incident responses.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills with the ability to synthesize highly technical concepts into clear and concise language
