Support Engineer - iOS, macOS, IP Networking - Full-time, On-site - Cork, Ireland
A large global organisation is in search of a Support Engineer to assist on a high-profile, on-site engagement supporting internal users within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This will be a full-time, permanent position, offering a very competitive salary!
This is a full-time, office-based role, requiring you to be on-site 5 days per week in Cork, Ireland.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal in English)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Experience supporting macOS, iOS, Apple Watch, and Apple TV
- Familiarity with ITSM or CRM systems for case tracking
- Experience working with knowledge base systems
- Conceptual understanding of IP networking and basic network troubleshooting
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person technical support to employees and contractors
- Deliver high levels of professionalism and customer service aligned with our standards
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with minimal guidance
- Accurately document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Take ownership of support issues, from first contact through to resolution
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate technical teams
