Senior Cloud Specialist – Kubernetes

A leading enterprise IT team is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Specialist to support critical container platform initiatives across AWS. This is a high-impact contract role for someone with deep Kubernetes expertise and a strong cloud-native mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) clusters on AWS
• Lead and support OpenShift migrations from on-prem to AWS
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across EKS and OpenShift environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on platform automation and optimization

Key Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and components
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale
• Hands-on experience with EKS and AWS-native integrations
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and other automation tools
• Familiarity with OpenShift (on-prem and cloud), including MTC migration tool
• Strong understanding of networking (CNI), logging, metrics, and Kubernetes security best practices
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles
