We are seeking a talented and motivated 💥 Business Analyst 💥 to join our team and drive system and business analysis efforts. You will conduct thorough business analysis, prepare functional and non-functional specifications, and design solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will play a key role in planning, designing, and executing test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Work location: Slovenia (Ljubljana, Maribor or Nova Gorica).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct system and business analysis to prepare functional and non-functional specifications.
• Plan and design solutions, assessing scope and complexity.
• Prepare and execute test plans, including performance, integration, usability, security, and stability tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
• Document results effectively, including test outcomes and business analysis reports.
• Work with multi-tier application architectures and client-server architectures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in system and business analysis.
• Higher university education (B.Sc. or higher) in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering).
• Strong ability to conduct business analysis and prepare functional and non-functional specifications.
• Proven experience in planning and designing solutions, with the ability to assess scope and complexity.
• Expertise in preparing and executing test plans.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, including database design principles and concepts.
• Solid understanding of application development processes (including programming, testing, debugging, and maintenance).
• Familiarity with multi-tier application architectures and client-server architectures.
• Ability to document results effectively, including test outcomes and business analysis reports.
• Fluency in Slovenian language and meeting the legal requirements to be employed in Slovenia.

Desired Skills

• Formal certificate in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with web application development standards, including limitations related to user interfaces, network bandwidth, and workstation operating systems.
• Knowledge of the principles used in designing and implementing database systems.
• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and web services standards.
• Experience working with desktop and web applications and understanding the unique challenges they present.
• Ability to create and execute non-functional tests, including:
• Performance tests
• Integration tests
• Usability tests
• Security tests
• Stability tests.
