.Net Application Developer

We’re looking for a .NET Application Developer to join our team and help us build solid, efficient applications that make an impact. This role is ideal for mid-level developers who know their way around the .NET framework, can craft clean and testable code, and are up for solving real-world problems.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and improve software solutions for our clients based on Microsoft technologies using Microsoft Visual Studio (version 2019 or newer).
• Utilize fundamental concepts in relational databases, including database design methodologies.
• Develop and utilize web applications and complex data processing and exchange.
• Creation of SQL jobs (SQL Server Agent jobs)
• Plan and implement solid technical architecture.
• Debug and optimize applications to make them bulletproof.
• Review and refine code for better performance and maintainability.
• Deploy fully functional applications.
• Upgrade existing solutions
• Document development and operational procedures.
• Program applications
• Evaluate the scope and complexity of requirements and create detailed solution plans.
• Perform unit testing, prepare test reports, and document test results.
• Apply solid understanding of application development principles, including programming, testing, debugging, and maintaining software.
• Work with re-engineering processes, understanding system operation and architecture from the program code.

For this role, we value candidates who have:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in system and business analysis, programming applications based on Microsoft technologies, and using Microsoft Visual Studio
• Technical proficiency in
• .NET Framework (version 2.0 or newer)
• ASP.NET development
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• ADO.NET or OLE.DB
• Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including:
• XML knowledge (XML, SOAP; XSLT, WSDL, XML, WS)
• Good knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server)
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST).
• Experience with cloud-based development and integration, especially using Azure services.
• Willing to share knowledge and learn new technologies.
• Familiarity with web services architecture (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with version control and CI&CD tools
• Past work experience with Slovene public sector projects is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability to learn and implement new technologies
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Native speaker or bilingual in Slovene language and eligible to live and work in Slovenia
