Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client's team in the banking sector. You will be responsible for managing automated test environments, lifecycle management, and ensuring system continuity. You will play a key role in monitoring, incident management, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient software delivery.
• Automation & Testing: Implement automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, performance tests) to enhance deployment quality.
• Incident & Problem Management: Ensure continuity in complex IT chains by actively monitoring and resolving incidents.
• Monitoring & Logging: Work with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or ELK Stack for proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Manage Azure Cloud environments, infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Ansible), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices, ensuring financial data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, business, and operations teams to optimize system performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Service Manager, and Authorization Requests
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment processes
• Expertise in C# (.NET 4+), ASP.NET, and MVC Frameworks
• Database experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server Integration Services & Reporting Services
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, and ITIL methodologies
• Familiarity with authentication & authorization frameworks (OAuth, OpenID, RBAC in Active Directory)
• Understanding of financial risk & hedge accounting regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server 2012+, Linux, and Active Directory
• Background in finance and risk domains, particularly regulatory compliance
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement
