The Role

Genius Sports is looking for a Front End Developer to join our Professional Services team, who are responsible for delivering high-quality games and experiences to engage sport fans around the world, such as fantasy, predictors and trivia

This role is perfect for a person who is passionate about sports, willing to take on challenges and responsibility for new projects, deliver the best quality results to our clients and to be an integral part of a focused, agile team.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Development of new and existing software products and components
• Producing high quality, tested and maintainable code, using the best technologies for the problem at hand
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders, including designers, product managers, and other developers
• Investigation and resolution of issues reported by internal and external customers
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Commercial experience with React /TypeScript
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Mobx
• Knowledge and experience of Styled Components (or another JS based styling library)
• Ability to translate Figma designs into high-quality, responsive, and reusable React components.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
• Strong experience working with Git and Continuous Integration
• Understanding of Web Accessibility standards
  
  

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of core AWS services
• Experience working across legacy codebases as well as modern React ones.
• A love of sports and desire to enhance the way fans engage with their favourite events!
