IT Officer (Applications)

A leading insurance company in Oman is looking for a skilled IT Officer (Applications) to support and enhance in-house medical insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support Java-based applications.
• Handle data integration using FHIR, HL7, and JSON.
• Manage SQL/PLSQL database tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in application development and support.
• Strong skills in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Spring, REST APIs, SQL/PLSQL.
• Good understanding of GitHub and deployment processes.
• Basic knowledge of medical/health insurance is a plus.
