Lead Web Developer

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Fintech client who requires a Lead Web Developer that will work independently on a range of projects that are pipelined for this year. You'll manage technical implementation, optimize performance, and ensure smooth execution of digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and features using PHP.
• Build front-end components with JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Vue.js).
• Integrate third-party APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Implement A/B testing and CRO experiments.
• Ensure website performance, responsiveness, and SEO optimization.
• Debug performance issues using tools like Lighthouse and WebPageTest.
• Use Git for version control and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong WordPress skills (PHP development).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with A/B testing and CRO tools (Google Optimize, Optimizely).
• Knowledge of Segment, Mixpanel, Amplitude.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

This role is 4 days on site in Sydney.
