Job Purpose And Impact
The HR Specialist plays a strategic role in supporting and advising on employee activities across multiple locations and external stakeholder groups within Australia.
Working within a small HR team, you will utilise your HR knowledge and provide specialist support within industrial and employee relations covering performance management, investigations and disciplinary meetings, alongside management of employee data, HR training and administrative duties.

Job Purpose And Impact
The HR Specialist plays a strategic role in supporting and advising on employee activities across multiple locations and external stakeholder groups within Australia.
Working within a small HR team, you will utilise your HR knowledge and provide specialist support within industrial and employee relations covering performance management, investigations and disciplinary meetings, alongside management of employee data, HR training and administrative duties.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with managers to align HR priorities with business objectives
- Provide comprehensive coaching and administrative support in the day-to-day operations of the HR department
- Act as the initial contact and response for internal and external stakeholders, managing queries and issues
- Skilled in managing organisational change with the ability to influence leaders
- Lead the implementation and improvement of HR services activities
- Interpret policies, regulatory requirements, and agreements; define and implement employment policies, strategies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor the internal and external employee/industrial relations environment
- Providing coaching and training to key business groups
- Bachelor’s degree in HR (or equivalent degree) preferred.
- Demonstrated track record in taking initiative, working independently and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience in industrial relations and employee relations
- Strong understanding of Australian employment laws and regulations
- Exceptional stakeholder management, with problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage diverse complex issues
- Experience in policy development and implementation
- Advanced MS Office Skills and knowledge of HR systems
