Position: Network Engineer

Duration: 1 year ext (Long term)

JD:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco, HP, and Juniper switches, with a strong focus on network deployment and operations.
• At least 6 yrs experience.
• Proficient in configuring and managing high-end routers such as Juniper MX960, MX10K, and Cisco ASR 9K series.
• Deep understanding of MPLS networks, including L3VPN ,EVPN and Traffic Engineering (TE) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in the design, deployment, and policy configuration of Software-Defined Access (SDA) technologies using Cisco DNAC and Juniper Mist.
• Skilled in using tools like Wireshark, HP NNMi, HP NA and other network monitoring platforms for proactive performance analysis and fault resolution.
• Proficient with Cisco Nexus 7000 and 9000 series switches.
• Solid understanding of IXIA packet brokers and traffic simulation tools.
• Provide expert-level support for Layer 2/3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRFs, EVPN, STP, VPC, and QoS.
• Automate routine network tasks and configuration changes using Python scripting and various network automation tools.
• Understanding and configuring Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls for threat prevention, access control, and VPN solutions.
• Specialized expertise in Microsense FTTO (Fiber to the Office) implementations and maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) for data center networking.
• Proven capability in Network Design, Implementation, and Troubleshooting in complex service provider and enterprise environments.
