Job Title: Network L3 Consultant

Total Experience Required: 6+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: At least 4+ years in Network, SD-WAN, HPE/Aruba switches and Aruba Wireless

Work Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Must be currently based in Germany, or Willing to relocate to Germany from anywhere within Europe or the UK

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: Minimum 6 months, extendable up to 18 months based on project needs

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in Germany

Workplace Type: 100% On-site

Languages Required: English & German is preferred

We are seeking an experienced Network L3 Engineer for an on-site contract position based in Frankfurt, Germany. This role involves hands-on work with enterprise network infrastructure, supporting operations across data centers, and ensuring the security, stability, and performance of the network.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with firmware upgrades and patching of network devices
• Configuration and troubleshooting of Fortinet SD-WAN
• Proficiency with HPE/Aruba switches and Aruba Wireless
• Management of DNS/DHCP and IPAM tools like Efficient IP and Infoblox
• Load balancer configuration using ADC and F5, including SSL encryption

Optional Skills:

• Experience with data center operations and physical device support
• Strong knowledge of WAN/DC-LAN infrastructure
• Familiarity with ports, ciphers, and encryption protocols
• Understanding of change, incident, and problem management processes
• Capacity monitoring and maintenance of DNS/DHCP services
