We are looking for a Learning and Development Team Leader to join the Human Resources Directorate of our university who meets the following criteria:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields

• Minimum 10 year experience in learning and development, training, or HR roles.

• Experience in corporate academy organizations, in leading development projects, designing and implementing corporate development programs

• Proven ability to lead development projects, acting as a change agent and project leader with the credibility to influence at all levels within the institution

• Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.

• Experience with e-learning platforms, LMS systems, and digital learning tools.

• Experience in reward and recognition programs, well-being initiatives

• Strong analytical thinking, reporting skills

• Excellent command of MS Office applications especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Self-motivation, positive and proactive attitude with high level of energy

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work-environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Job Description

• Establishing long-term L&D vision and strategies in line with institutional priorities, taking on a guiding role through processes

• Identify skill gaps and create tailored development plans for employees at all levels.

• Design, coordinate, and deliver targeted training programs, workshops, and e-learning initiatives that meet the organization’s strategic objectives

• Drive leadership and career development programs to support employee growth.

• Manage and track reward and recognition programs to enhance employee motivation.

• Lead and promote well-being initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace culture.

• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using key metrics and feedback.

• Prepare, track, and report the annual budget for learning and development activities and optimize resources for maximum impact.

• Manage procurement and payment processes related to training and development programs

• Lead and mentor the Learning & Development team, providing clear guidance and fostering an environment that encourages growth and collaboration.
