Equity Analyst

The Research team provides major business development support to the business units of the Bank. It also provides high-level advice to the key internal departments and committees of the Bank. The purpose is to contribute to the growth and development of the Bank through providing high quality advice to its key stakeholders both internal and external, in order to maximize the income of the Bank. To generate high recognition and brand awareness for Emirate's NBD's research products, in order to develop the Bank's pre-eminent reputation for thought leadership and high quality research covering GCC and MENA areas, thereby enhancing the Bank's credibility amongst its clients and its peers.

Job Purpose

This role will assist in expanding our coverage of regional & local singe stocks and equity markets, to meet the demands for this type of analysis from business units including C&IB, Emirates NBD Capital, and ENBD Securities and bank’s external institutional clients

Main Tasks

• To own a strong suite of in-house equity publications (Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Thematic along with Initiation Reports) which cater to the needs of Investment Bank and Brokerage Clients.
• To work with other departments in using different available platforms to deliver Research's publications to a wider audience. The focus will remain on digital platforms including developing the dedicated Research Website, and initiating coverage on platforms like Bloomberg, S&P IQ.
• To create and maintain key presentations used for key internal and external events and to remain aware of market developments and its potential impact.
• To provide insight into specific companies that can be used for internal decision making, or on one-off projects.

Key Results

• Development and maintenance of equity markets research products focused on regional and local equities.
• Manage delivery of Research publications on various third party and digital platforms, as well as on our own Research website.
• Initiate and assist with regular client interactions where house views are presented. This would involve coordination with various departments of the Bank.
• Support other internal business units, including the corporate and investment bank and securities, on an ad-hoc basis with specific requests for company analysis.

Experiences

Equity analysis experience of 2-5 years, a proven ability to produce high quality written reports and experience in speaking to groups of people

Knowledge & Skills

A high degree of IT literacy. Financial analysis and modelling.

Knowledge and experience working with Bloomberg, MS office.
