Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead IT projects with a focus on software development, process improvement, and quality assurance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple projects, collaborate with various teams, and oversee the full project lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in the system development life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

• Lead project activities, define tasks, set deliverables, and review progress.
• Formulate project strategies, create detailed project plans, and estimate costs, resources, and timescales.
• Monitor project progress against the plan, manage budgets, and control risks.
• Ensure that all systems are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Stakeholder Management:

• Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors.
• Organize and participate in functional and technical working groups and progress meetings.
• Review project deliverables and provide regular, detailed status reports.

Risk and Quality Management:

• Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to mitigate issues.
• Oversee the quality control process, ensuring that all project deliverables meet required standards.
• Implement the change control procedure and gain agreement from project sponsors for any changes to the scope.

Business Analysis:

• Analyse business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.
• Document, model, and improve business processes while providing cost/benefit analysis.
• Suggest process improvements and assist in aligning project outcomes with business objectives.

System Management:

• Manage various system activities, ensuring effective project execution and tracking.
• Ensure proper integration and alignment with web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML, CSS, JSON, XML).

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans and quality plans.
• Provide clear, concise, and accurate reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Give presentations and deliver updates as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• A university degree in a relevant field (at least three years of study).
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, SCRUM Master, PRINCE2 Foundation, PM² Essential).

Languages:

• Strong proficiency in English (Level B2 - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Basic knowledge of French (Level A2 – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Required Skills & Expertise:

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Experience with web technologies and standards (e.g., HTML/CSS, JSON, XML).
• Hands-on experience with system development life-cycle phases.

Project Management Skills:

• Excellent time, scope, risk, and budget management capabilities.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.

Analytical & Conceptual Thinking:

• Ability to think analytically and conceptualize complex processes.
• Proven skills in documenting, analysing, and modelling business processes.

Additional Skills:

• Quick learner with the capability to integrate rapidly into new projects and teams.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Project Management for computer software construction, with hands-on experience in most stages of the system development life-cycle.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in quality assurance.
