Job Title: Windows Technical Specialist & Infrastructure Consultant

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Windows Technical Specialist with a strong consulting background to support one of our valued clients in the education sector. This role requires a balance of deep technical expertise and excellent client-facing advisory skills. You’ll be instrumental in managing, supporting, and optimizing IT infrastructure, with a focus on Windows Server, Azure, and VMware technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter expert for Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal configuration, performance, and security.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues across servers and virtual environments.
• Manage and maintain virtual infrastructures using VMware and cloud services within Microsoft Azure.
• Advise and guide the client on infrastructure improvements, upgrades, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Work both remotely and onsite to ensure system stability and client satisfaction.
• Document processes, configurations, and recommendations clearly and professionally.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Windows Server management and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency with VMware virtualization platforms.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results under minimal supervision.
• Comfortable in both advisory and hands-on technical roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant Microsoft and VMware certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104, VCP).
• Experience working within educational or public sector environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
