Software Team Lead (C++)

My client, a Series C hyper growth NoSQL Database vendor, is seeking a C++ Software Team Lead (Hands on) to join their team.

This is a permanent opportunity and you can work fully remote. This is paying a market leading salary company stock options.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a distributed team of very talented 5-10 developers
• Develop performance-sensitive software in an open-source collaborative environment
• Hands-on development of features and review code by team members (~50% of the time).
• Grow and coach the team talent
• Communicate clearly in public email, commit messages, and bug reports

Requirements:

• At least five years of experience in kernel or server projects
• Extensive Knowledge of C++
• A Doer, a leader, a winner, a savvy hands-on coder, highly analytical, a bar raiser, and a team player
• Experience in directly managing a distributed team is a plus
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related subject is a plus
• Experience working on database internals is a plus
• Great 360 collaboration and communication skills
• Open source development experience is a plus
