Job Title: Lead UX Developer
Our Galway based client is seeking a skilled Lead UX Developer to help shape the future of their digital footprint across the group. In this role you’ll be responsible for leading the front-end development and UX execution of their platforms for mobile and web.

Our Galway based client is seeking a skilled Lead UX Developer to help shape the future of their digital footprint across the group. In this role you’ll be responsible for leading the front-end development and UX execution of their platforms for mobile and web.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX implementation for web and mobile platforms, transforming designs into high-quality, interactive user interfaces for the portfolio of products.
- Collaborate with clinical, engineering and product teams to ensure cohesive and consistent UX across all digital touchpoints for a portfolio of products.
- Develop and maintain reusable front-end components using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on features.
- Ensure consistent UX patterns across platforms and products, integrating seamlessly with our design system and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Champion internal UX standards, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
- Stay current with UX trends, healthcare tech regulations, and accessibility tools.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in front-end development or UX engineering.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SASS/SCSS), and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with modern JS frameworks (React preferred) and component-based architecture.
- Solid understanding of UX design principles, user flows, responsive layouts, and information architecture.
- Experience working with design systems and tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization techniques is a big plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a user-first mindset.
- Familiarity with UX research methods and tools.
- Involvement in accessibility audits or remediation projects.
- A portfolio showcasing accessible and user-friendly digital products.
