ITSM Engineer

We are looking for an experienced ITSM Engineer for one of our clients. This person will collaborate on the implementation of a new ITSM solution and manage key ITSM processes. This role will focus on automating IT processes with an emphasis on incident, change, service request, and configuration management.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the implementation of a new ITSM solution.
• Manage and automate ITSM processes, focusing on incident, change, service request, and configuration management.
• Design and improve processes, emphasizing automation via command and control.
• Maintain, expand, and provide technical support for the CMDB and configuration management data model.
• Review daily imports from source systems and ensure CMDB quality, implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Identify opportunities for process and interface optimizations, and lead their implementation.

Qualifications:

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in ITSM, scripting, and automation.
• Expertise in scripting languages for automating tasks.
• Extensive experience with API integration and development.
• Proficient in ITIL and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Ivanti, or BMC Remedy.
• Deep knowledge of IT asset management and IT configuration management processes.
• Strong project management skills and experience in implementing ITSM processes.
• Fluent in both German and English.

Language skills:

German required, English is an advantage.
