UI UX Designer Intern

Company Description

We are building Discord for Businesses. Returning.AI (https://returning.ai) is an AI-powered loyalty + community building platform that helps businesses build a community that users keep returning for.

We're currently based in Singapore and are looking for an Intern UI UX Designer (6 months). It'll be fun - we're like a white-labelled version of Discord for businesses who want to have that cool discord feel while maintaining their brand guidelines.

Role Description

In this UI UX Designer internship role, you'll work closely with our PM, Devs, QA and Marketing departments in designing our product. At the end of the 6 months internship, you'll have an opportunity to be converted to a full-time UI UX Designer.

Job Requirements:

• Singaporean/PRs only
• Preferably a degree in digital animation, design, media, industrial design
• Bonus: Completed an immersion course in UI-UX
• Bonus: Games and is familiar with Discord
• Excellent with Figma
• Great with design thinking
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
• Someone who games and uses Discord is a big plus
• Independent and Critical problem-solving attitude.
• Great team player (teamwork & culture is super important)

Primary Responsibilities

• Create designs for new features
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Work directly with Product Owner to discuss ideas and solutions
• Work in a team comprising of Devs, QA, UIUX and Marketing
• Test for intuitivity and experience
• Website and App UIUX

Secondary Responsibilities

• Research into competitors
• Research into other software integrations we could use
• User research

How big is the team?

In our Singapore HQ, we have a team of 10-12 which includes developers, designers, QA and analysts.

Globally, the team is about 25+ strong
