DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for setting up and maintaining cloud environments for both legacy and new assets, enabling seamless deployment and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage deployments using automation tools like Jenkins and Digital AI.
• Automate deployments for Middleware, Database, and Web platforms using Terraform.
• Implement and support DevOps practices including Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Continuous Delivery, Continuous Testing, and Process Automation.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts with Linux Shell and Python.
• Utilize infrastructure tools and platforms such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, Helm Chart, Node.js, Terraform, Ansible, Docker Containers, PostgreSQL, Redis, and CloudFormation Templates (CFT).
• Oversee build and deployment automation using Ansible.
• Manage release orchestration (Application Packaging, Runbooks, Release Pipelines, Workflows).
• Operate and maintain CI platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, SVN, Git).
• Enable tools supporting development, testing, quality assurance, and team collaboration.
• Drive cloud transformation and enablement initiatives.

Work Arrangement

• 50% On-site / 50% Remote

General Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant technical experience.
• Preferably 1–3 years experience with IBM Cloud environments.

Technical Skills (Mandatory):

• Strong practical knowledge of production environments (hardware and software).
• Solid understanding of cloud environments, Java technologies, and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with architecture principles and standards.
• Proficiency in development languages useful for technical support and architectural evaluation.

Technical Skills (Optional):

• Spring Boot, Node.js
• DigitalAI, Jenkins
• Ansible, Helm Chart, Terraform
• Experience with IBM BNPP Cloud (dMZR)

Mandatory:

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and organizational standards.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and workloads.
• Hands-on experience working with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
