Infrastructure & Cloud Manager

Role Purpose

An experienced Infrastructure & Cloud Manager to join our team and lead the development, implementation, and management of our cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure solutions. This role is critical in ensuring that our IT infrastructure is reliable, secure, scalable, and efficiently supports our business objectives.

Accountabilities

• Lead the strategy, development, and execution of cloud services and infrastructure projects, including but not limited to IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Manage and oversee the architecture and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Oversee and optimize IT infrastructure budget, vendor relationships, and service agreements.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, compliance standards, and best practices to protect company data and infrastructure.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and cloud services to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the infrastructure team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Provide expert guidance and support in resolving complex technical issues related to infrastructure and cloud services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support and enhance business operations through effective use of technology.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure & cloud management.
• Proven track record in managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with implementing and managing cybersecurity and compliance measures.
• Excellent project management skills and experience with agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Experienced with cloud service-providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Experienced with on-premises data center technologies, including servers, storage, and network infrastructure. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of networking principles and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancers, and firewalls. Knowledge of network architecture and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans ensuring minimal downtime and data loss in emergency situations. Proficiency in designing & implementation of Time & Attendance ESS MSS, Travel Management.
• Experience with tools and practices for monitoring the performance and health of cloud and on-premises environments, with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
