We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale powerful APIs and microservices that fuel their next-generation platforms. You’ll play a critical role in shaping backend architecture, making key technical decisions, and mentoring a talented team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and developing robust, scalable REST APIs using Node.js, Java, and TypeScript.
• Building secure microservices in a modern AWS cloud environment.
• Leading technical design discussions and guiding engineers across interconnected platforms.
• Driving performance, security, and reliability improvements across all backend services.
• Implementing best practices for logging, monitoring, and application health using tools like NewRelic, DynaTrace, and Splunk.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and DevOps to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• 7–10 years of backend development experience with expertise in Node.js, Java, and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Expertise in building and securing RESTful APIs and familiarity with SOA and microservices architectures.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases and high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with observability tools and building highly available, production-ready applications.
• Ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and influence technical direction.
• Bonus points for experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, or event-driven systems (Kafka, etc.).

The target hiring compensation for this role is between 75/hr-85/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
