HR Assistant

The HR Assistant will provide support to the HR Manager, focusing on administrative tasks, employee relations, recruitment and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
2. Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
3. Record Management: Maintain digital and electronic records of employees, ensuring compliance with company policies.
4. Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll preparation and resolve any payroll-related issues.
5. Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and concerns, and support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
6. Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor regulations and company policies.
7. Training Coordination: Organize training sessions and seminars to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
8. Shipping Terminologies: Utilize knowledge of shipping terms to support HR functions related to logistics and supply chain management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in HR, preferably within Maritime industry
