About the role:

The Principal Project Manager will join a large QLD State Govt Department to deliver a range of Cyber Security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale cyber security project, adhering to project management methodologies.
• Manage project resources, budgets, risks, and timelines, ensuring performance targets are met.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
• Provide leadership in change management to ensure successful adoption of security solutions.
• Monitor and report on project trends, performance, and outcomes.

Experience:

• Proven experience managing large-scale cyber security projects, including endpoint protection solutions.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2 preferred).
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• High-level communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
