Lead Developer - PHP

Digitech are partnered with an outstanding e-learning business that are growing their development team. The company are looking to breakdown some longstanding legacy systems into more modern microservices and modernize their stack.

We are seeking a lead developer/architect to join a small team of eight, report directly into the head of development and head of engineering. All of the services are running in AWS, Symfony, Laravel and in house MVC frameworks, so we are looking for someone who has a variability of experience.

Skills

• Skilled with Laravel, Symfony and MVC frameworks
• AWS and cloud architecture experience
• Modern CI/CD practices
• Analytical experience - showing the ability to answer the why over how
• Design and architectural knowledge

The company are offering a competitive salary depending on experience. Included in your package will be a discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday, and, private medical insurance. The company are based in Central London and are required to go into the office three times a week.
