Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud solutions across our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud security architecture, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks, with a strong understanding of public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust cloud security architectures for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Lead security assessments and risk analysis of cloud platforms and services.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across cloud systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging cloud security technologies and threats.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Support incident response and forensic investigations related to cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other security team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT security, with 3+ years in cloud security architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, encryption, key management, firewalls, and network security in cloud environments.
• Familiar with tools like Prisma Cloud, Wiz, GuardDuty, Security Center, etc.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CCSP) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CISSP, CISM, or other industry-recognized security certifications.
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
