Job Description
The Network Administrator provides desktop support for the technical infrastructure of the organization and resolves first-level systems failures.
This role includes on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of the information infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking products, operating systems, and telecommunications systems. Responsibilities also include designing and specifying local area network components such as PCs, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, switches, modems, cabling, and ISPs. The administrator supports end users efficiently and ensures IT procedures meet SOX compliance requirements.

The Network Administrator provides desktop support for the technical infrastructure of the organization and resolves first-level systems failures.
This role includes on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of the information infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking products, operating systems, and telecommunications systems. Responsibilities also include designing and specifying local area network components such as PCs, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, switches, modems, cabling, and ISPs. The administrator supports end users efficiently and ensures IT procedures meet SOX compliance requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform daily system backups and security software updates.
- Provide technical support and user training for hardware/software across departments.
- Address user queries, install/test software upgrades, and support helpdesk operations.
- Operate independently with the authority to resolve system faults.
- Manage Windows-based servers in line with company standards.
- Maintain Active Directory and ERP system user accounts.
- Coordinate with departments and external IT teams on system changes and requirements.
- Monitor and manage information systems security access.
- Assist in hardware/software procurement.
- Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and track issues effectively.
- Document solutions within the internal ticketing system.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and SOX procedures.
- Dell PC Hardware, Windows Server 2012, Windows 11/10
- Data storage, Active Directory, SCCM, SQL Server
- Experience in onsite and remote support
- Degree in Information Systems
- Desirable: network maintenance and support experience
- Proficient in all MS Windows operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused, proactive, and enthusiastic approach
- Detail-oriented and motivated
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN/wireless technologies
- Familiarity with antivirus solutions
- VB and SQL knowledge is a plus
- Commitment to confidentiality and adaptability
