The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
- Planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.
- Accountable for planning and allocating resources, preparing budgets, monitoring progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project life cycle. All of this takes place within the framework of achieving a company's goals and achieving their vision.
- Developing proposals that detail products or services that meet client needs, outlining pricing information and terms of sale
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
- Align projects with business goals, construct detailed work plans, manage teams, achieve milestones, and communicate the result across a stakeholder audience.
- Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and allocation, develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project.
- Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders, establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
- Proven success working with all levels of management.
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
