Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Location: Doha, Qatar - Hybrid

Job Type: Contract 4 months

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the overall quality of software products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies (manual and automated) to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to clarify requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Identify, record, document, and track defects, and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Lead QA efforts in agile/scrum teams, ensuring timely delivery and effective quality control.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (if applicable).
  • Analyze and report test results, KPIs, and metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, etc.) is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting for data validation and backend testing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
